BD AQUA SEAL COAT is an acrylic based elastomeric, waterproof coating for roofs and walls. BD AQUA SEAL COAT is suitable for application on concrete, masonry, plaster terrazzo tiles, corrugated iron, etc., BD AQUA SEAL COAT is available in variety of color and is ideally suited for external application.
AREA OF APPLICATIONS
BD AQUA SEAL COAT is designed for use as:
- Waterproof coating for sloped roofs and vertical walls.
- Waterproof coating over existing terrazzo tiles.
- Waterproof coating over corrugated iron sheets.
- Waterproof and protective coating over roof polyurethane foam.

NOTES:
BD AQUA SEAL COAT should not be applied at ambient temperatures below 5°C and dropping. BD AQUA SEAL COAT should not be applied on surfaces expected to suffer form rising dampness or relative humidity.
METHOD OF USAGE
Surfaces to receive BD AQUA SEAL COAT should be clean, sound, and free from oil, grease, dirt and loose particles. Substrate should be dry, with no standing water. Spalled surfaces, cracks and defected concrete should be repaired. New concrete substrate should be at least 14 days old.
BD AQUA SEAL COAT can be applied by brush, roll, or airless spray machine. Porous surfaces should primed with a dilution of water 1:1 ratio.
The first coat of BD AQUA SEAL COAT should be applied at the rate of 0.5kg/m² and allowed to cure for 4- 12 hours depending on ambient temperature.
The second coat should be applied perpendicular to the first coat at the same rate above, and allowed to cure. For heavy pedestrian traffic, it is recommended to use fiberglass scrim reinforcement, embedded firmly in the second coat while wet, and a third coat should be applied.
CLEANING
All tools should be washed and cleaned immediately after use with clean water.

COVERAGE
0.45 kg/m² to achieve 200 microns dry film thickness.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
CAUTIONS
As with all acrylic paints, care should be taken during use and storage to avoid contact with skin, eyes and mouth. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection.
Should accidental skin contact occur, remove immediately with plenty of clean water. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately – do not induce vomiting. For further information refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet.
FIRE
BD AQUA SEAL COAT are nonflammable.
